Behrend Women's Water Polo Set to Compete at CWPA Championships

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team heads to Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota on Friday for the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Championships. The Lions enter the tournament as the eight-seeded team and open play against No. 9 Carthage at 12 p.m.

* The Lions received league wins over Utica this season, defeating the Pioneers 14-7 and 16-4
* Nic Darrell (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) and Shannon Young (Roseville, CA/Roseville) were named to the CWPA East All-Conference Team
