SHERMAN, Texas - The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team finished with a 1-4 record at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) West Weekend, hosted by Austin.
Match One
Score: Austin 24, Penn State Behrend 11
Records: Austin (4-7), Penn State Behrend (3-6)
Key Moments:
* Nic Darrell (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) and Makenzie Rickerd (Rockford, MI/Rockford) each recorded a hat trick in Behrend's opening game
* Lauren True (Denton, TX/Guyer) and Darragh Martin (Green Lane, PA/Upper Perkiomen) chipped in two goals apiece
* Rickerd and Dylan Scherping (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) each tallied two assists
* On the defensive end, Martin had a team-high six steals
