CRESSON, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team won the Mt. Aloysius Invitational on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions had five runners in the top-seven to win their second meet of the year.

Catie Bertges (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) took first with a time of 24:48.3.  Haley Hughes (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) crossed the line at 25:40.5 for second place.

Katie Spade (Warren, PA/Warren) and Katie Patterson (Erie, PA/Villa Maria) placed third and fourth respectively.  Spade finished with a time of 25:54.6 while Patterson was not far behind coming in at 25:56.7.  Jamie Szramowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Oakland Catholic) took seventh with a time of 26:20.8.

Behrend will be back in action on October 13 at the Inter-Regional Rumble.  Start time is set for 11 a.m.
