Lions Run To Third-Place Finish at Fredonia

FREDONIA, NY -- Catie Bertges (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) finished fourth individually as Penn State Behrend's women's cross country team came in third out of six teams at the Fredonia Invitational.

Bertges finished with a time of 18:48, while Katie Spade (Warren, PA/ Warren) ran a 19:45 to cross the finish line in 16th place.

In 19th overall, Haley Hughes (Cochranton, PA/ Cochranton) ran a time of 20:27, and Danielle Stanko (Sagertown, PA/ Sagertown) ended at 20:29 and one place behind Hughes for 20th.

The Lions return to action on Saturday at the Behrend Invitational. Race starts at 11:15 a.m.
