STEUBENVILLE, Oh. - The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team finished 3rd out of eight teams on Saturday at the Franciscan Invitational. Miranda Boatman (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte) led the Lions with a 15th place finish running a time of 28:59.

Freshman Catherine Fox (Fairview, PA/Fairview) came in second on the squad finishing with a time of 27:43 good for 17th place. Katie Manno, (Erie, Pa/McDowell) Jamie Szramowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Oakland Catholic) and Abby Gilmore (Waterford, PA/Fort Leboeuf) all had strong finishes for Behrend with times of 30:23, 30:42 and 31:00 respectively.

The Lions will host the Penn State Behrend Invitational next Saturday at 11:00 am.
