Lions Run at Carnegie Mellon Invitational
Katie Manno led the Penn State Behrend women's cross country team to a 14th place finish Saturday afternoon at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Manno finished 44th with a time of 20:52.4. As a team, Behrend finished with a score of 367.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Katie Manno (Erie, PA/McDowell) led the Penn State Behrend women's cross country team to a 14th place finish Saturday afternoon at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Manno finished 44th with a time of 20:52.4. As a team, Behrend finished with a score of 367.
Coming in at 70th place was Abby Gilmore (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) who ran a 22:33.5. After Gilmore, Jamie Szramowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Oakland Catholic) and Catherine Fox (Fairview, PA/Fairview) placed 81st and 85th respectively. Szramowski finished with a time of 23:38.7 and Fox ran a 24:13.6.
Abagail Johnston (Grove City, PA/Grove City) chipped in an 87th place finish running a time of 24:19.2.
The Lions will return to action next Saturday when they travel to the Oberlin Invitational set to start at 10:00 a.m.
