ERIE, Pa – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team finished fourth out of seven teams with a score of 122 at A Race in the Park hosted by Gannon and Mercyhurst on Saturday morning.

Junior Rachel Ramsey (North Versailles, PA/East Allegheny) scored the top time for the Lions with a third place overall finish in the 5K with a time of 19:52.1.

Seniors Katie Manno (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Abby Gilmore (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) took 23^rd and 30^th overall with times of 21:00.2 and 21:24.1 respectively.

Ashlyn Carlsson (Butler, PA/Knoch) finished in 32^nd place with a time of 21:27.4. Paige Allen (Butler, PA/Butler) rounded out Behrend's top five finishers with a time of 21:33.3 earning her a 34^th place overall finish.

The Lions are back in action next Saturday at Oberlin. The Start time for the race is scheduled for 10 a.m.
