ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team travel to Bethlehem, PA to compete in the NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships on Saturday hosted by Muhlenberg. The meet is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.

* The Lions will be competing against 60 NCAA Division III teams this weekend
* Behrend will have 10 entries in the event
* The Lions most recently won the women's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship on November 2
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin) won the individual championship, running a time of 22:10.4 and beating the conference championship record
* Behrend had the top three finishers in Carr, Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford) and Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA, Knoch)
* The Lions had eight AMCC All-Conference selections along with Carr being named Runner of the Year
