Behrend Places 13th At Yellowjacket Invite

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team finished 13^th with a team score of 436 at the Yellowjacket Invitational, hosted by Rochester at Genesee Valley Park Saturday morning.

* As a team, Behrend jumped up three spots from 16^th to 13^th after the first 2k of the race
* Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) was the top finisher for the Lions on Saturday
* Hartle began the race in 134^th place at the 2k mark, but propelled herself ahead seven spots to 129^th with a time of 26:15.9
* Freshman Baylee Dernar (Wattsburg, PA/Seneca) was the next Behrend runner to cross the finish line, registering a time of 26:37.6 for 139^th place
* Bethany Litwiler (Reynolds, PA/Reynolds) (26:44.9) placed seven spots ahead of her 2k mark for a 145^th-place finish, while Alivia Hetrick (Waterford, PA/Waterford) (27:23.5) was 10 spots ahead to place 155^th
