Pilyih, Debich Set To Be Honored Saturday vs. Pitt-Bradford

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team hosts Pitt-Bradford at Eastland Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 2, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Prior to the match, Bella Pilyih (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) and Ashley Debich (Leechburg, PA/Kiski Area) will be recognized in a senior ceremony.

Behrend News & Notes:

* Two weeks ago, the Lions finished with an overall record of 6-4 to place fourth at the AMCC Round Robin 1 hosted by Hilbert on Nov. 17-19
* Behrend picked up victories over Pitt-Bradford (811-691), New Jersey City (804-790), Penn State Altoona (759-758), Hilbert (798-707), Mt. Aloysius (824-701), and La Roche (731-712)
* As a team, the Lions recorded a total pinfall of 7,832 and an average game score of 156.6 in 50 games played over 10 baker matches
* For the season, Behrend holds a 19-27 overall record with a 7-7 record in team play and a 12-20 record in baker format
* Sidney Batsa (Latrobe, PA/Greater Latrobe) leads the team with a 168.29 average over 14 traditional games played, while Emily Warrene (Tarentum, PA/Deer Lakes) has tallied a team-high in total pinfall (2,389)
* In baker format, Pilyih has recorded the highest average per game of 16.95
* The Lions have a baker average of 15.20 over 1,639 frames bowled this year

* Pitt-Bradford comes into Saturday's contest with a 14-24 overall record
* The Panthers placed sixth at the AMCC Round Robin 1 with a 5-5 record two weeks ago
