PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The No. 4 Penn State Behrend women's bowling team will compete in the first round of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships against No. 5 New Jersey City. Match time at Pines Plaza Lanes in Pittsburgh is set for 10 a.m. The winner of this single elimination mega match will take on No. 1 Saint Vincent at 2:30 p.m.

No. 4 Behrend News & Notes:

* Behrend enters the conference tournament with an overall record of 34-41 and an AMCC record of 11-9
* The Lions most recently defeated Pitt-Bradford in two traditional games and a baker match last Saturday to end the regular season
* In November, Behrend finished 6-4 for fourth place at the AMCC Round Robin 1, which consisted of 10 baker games
* At the beginning of February, the Lions tallied a record of 5-5 at Round Robin 2 for an overall conference record of 11-9 to earn the fourth seed in the AMCC Tournament

* New Jersey City comes in to Friday's match with an overall record of 22-32 and a conference record of 10-10
* The Gothic Knights picked up two wins over nationally-ranked Niagara (915-911) and Bloomfield (874-826) at the Northeast Region Roundup hosted by Wilmington this past weekend
* New Jersey City placed fifth in the AMCC Round Robin 1 with a record of 6-4 and tallied a record of 4-6 for eighth place in the second round robin, finishing with an overall record of 10-10 for the fifth seed in the conference tournament
* Senior Rebecca Hoff leads the team and ranks top-10 in the conference with an 18.07 traditional average and a 17.42 baker average
