ALTOONA, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend baseball team split an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) doubleheader at Penn State Altoona Saturday afternoon.

Game One: Penn State Altoona 9, Penn State Behrend 2 (7 inn.)
Records: Penn State Altoona (14-14, 5-4 AMCC), Penn State Behrend (18-9, 5-4 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* ​Behrend got on the board first on an RBI double from Daniel Boehme (Peters Township, PA/Seton LaSalle)
* ​Altoona responded with three runs in the bottom of the first
* ​Freshman David Gibson (North East, PA/North East) cut Behrend's deficit to one (3-2) with an RBI single in the top of the third
