GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team fell at Pitt-Greensburg, 72-68, Saturday afternoon.

Score: Pitt-Greensburg 72, Penn State Behrend 68

Records: Pitt-Greensburg (2-4, 1-1 AMCC), Penn State Behrend (5-2, 1-1 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The Bobcats gained a 17-14 lead with 12 minutes left in the first half and never looked back to earn their second victory of the season
* Pitt-Greensburg went on a 10-0 run to begin the second half, taking a 49-30 advantage with 16:15 left in the game
* However, Behrend would storm back in the final seven minutes, cutting the Bobcats lead to 66-60 with a minute remaining
* An RJ Marsh (State College, PA/Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy) driving layup and Matthew McDonough (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) three-pointer made it a three point game with six seconds left, but the Bobcats would seal their win at the free throw line
* McDonough finished with a team-high 19 points, shooting 7-13 from the field and 5-9 from beyond the arc
* Marsh and Tommy DiRienzo (Pittsburgh, PA/Bethel Park) chipped in 13 points, while DiRienzo tallied a game-high five assists and three steals
* On the glass, Michael Sopko (New Castle, PA/Neshannock) pulled down a career-high nine rebounds for the Lions
* As a team, Behrend dished out more assists than Pitt-Greensburg (13-9)
