ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team picked up a 60-53 victory over Wells in the Junker Center Monday night.

Key Moments:

* The first half of Monday's contest was a back-and-forth affair with five lead changes and two ties
* The biggest lead from Behrend was six, while Wells notched its largest lead of four in the first half
* Mason Blankenberg (Ontario, NY/Wayne) led the Lions in the first 20 minutes with 10 points off the bench
* It was more of the same back-and-forth play between the two teams in the second half as neither team was able to gain an advantage of more than eight points
* In the final minutes of the game, RJ Marsh (State College, PA/Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy) grabbed some clutch offensive rebounds to give Behrend a few second chance points
* The Lions eventually secured their 10th conference win of the season
* Marsh recorded his second consecutive double-double and third of the year, finishing with 16 points and a career-high 14 rebounds
* Following Marsh was Blankenberg who tallied 14 points and two steals, while Tommy DiRienzo (Pittsburgh, PA/Bethel Park) delivered 10 points to go along with four rebounds
* On the glass, Michael Sopko (New Castle, PA/Neshannock) pulled down seven rebounds
* For Wells, Terrance Clayton-Murphy scored a game-high 24 points. Chase Welch chipped in 12 points and Ransel Rodriguez collected nine rebounds
* As a team, Behrend outrebounded the Express (36-24) and outscored them in the paint (40-26), off the bench (22-6), and in second chance points (11-2)
