ERIE, Pa. – Freshman Dan Simon (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford), a member of the Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team, has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Swimmer of the Week. It is the second time he has earned the honor.  

Simon led the Lions to their first AMCC victory against Penn State Altoona on Saturday, posting two individual wins. He recorded a time of 2:09.19 in the 200 IM for first place, before winning in the 100 butterfly (55.61).

Behrend returns to action on Saturday at Washington & Jefferson. Meet time is 1 p.m.
