LANSING, MI - The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team competed against the top teams in NCAA Division III at the pre-meet for the championships on Saturday, hosted by Olivet College.

* MIT captured the pre-meet, while North Central was in second in and Wisconsin-La Crosse took third
* Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) ran in front for the Behrend Lions, taking 157th place
* Klein had a team top time of 27:10.2 for first on the team
* Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was the next runner to finish for the Lions
* Domencic took 207th overall with a time of 27:56.9
* Third on the team and 240th overall was Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Lake) with a time of 28:38.7
* Bennett Kerr (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) managed fourth on the team and 245th overall (28:46.1), while the big PR of the day goes to Joey George (Leechburg, PA/Kiski)
