OBERLIN, Ohio - The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team placed 26th out of 32 teams at the Inter-Reginal Rumble hosted by Oberlin on Saturday.

* Gearing up for the AMCC Championships in two weeks, the Lions compete in the 8k race among regional teams
* The top three teams at the invite were Carnegie Mellon (50) in first, Case Western in second (60) and Rochester in third (124)
* Behrend tallied 698 points for 26th place
* Pacing the Lions and earning 86th overall was Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep)
* Klein was almost 30 seconds faster than the NCAA Pre-Meet with a time of 26:44.9
* Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley), also faster than the last time out competing, placed 128th with a time of 27:21.9
* Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Lake) crossed with a time of 27:50.2, improving from two weeks ago to place 161st
* Joey George (Leechburg, PA/Kiski) did better than his best with a time of 28:46.4 for fourth on the team and 213th overall
* Chris Annear (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia), Bennett Kerr (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) and Aidan Reinsel (North East, PA/North East) were moments apart from crossing the finish line
* Annear ran 29:07.8 for 240th place and Kerr was one place behind in 29:10.9, while Reinsel was 244th overall in 29:16.1
