ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team will host the annual PSB Invitational at the Behrend Fields on Friday night. The 6K race begins at 6 p.m.

* The Lions are competing in their second invitational of the season
* Behrend won this meet a year ago led by Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy)
* Two weeks ago, Nola was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Runner of the Week
* Nola finished fourth out of 81 runners at the Houghton Invitational with a time of 15:07.18
* As a team, Behrend placed fourth out of eight at Houghton with three runners in the Top 20
* Newcomer Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth), running in her first collegiate race, led the freshmen and took 15th place overall in 15:55.06
* This is the first 6K race of the season for the Lions
*  Behrend has won the PSB Invitational two seasons in a row
