Nola Qualifies for NCAA Women's Cross Country Championships

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's cross country sophomore runner Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) will compete in the NCAA Championships on Saturday in Lansing, Michigan hosted by Olivet College. The event is set to begin at 11 a.m. at Forest Akers East Golf Course on the campus of Michigan State University.

* Nola will be competing in the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship for the first time in her career
* Nola placed 17th at the NCAA Mid-East Regional last Saturday to secure a spot in the event
* She ran her fastest time of the season 23:15.4 to be the third women's runner in program history to advance to the NCAA Championship since Catie Bertges in 2013
* Teammate Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin) qualified for nationals in 2017 and 2019
* Nola finished second at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship earlier this season with a time of 24:35.1 to be named to the All-AMCC Team
