Lions Pick Up One Win Over Hilbert

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team took on Hilbert on Tuesday evening in two traditional and one best-of-five baker format games.

* The Lions started the night with traditional matches followed by one best-of-five baker match determined by total pinfall
* Behrend secured a win in the best-of-five baker match
* The Lions won the first two baker games 132-99 and 134-127 before falling in the third and fourth 149-135 and 103-100
* Behrend won the final best-of-five baker, 167-133
* The Lions finished with a total pinfall of 668 while the Hawks finished with 611
* In the first traditional game, Behrend fell 688-658 to Hilbert
* Brianna Lundy (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) led the team with a 163 while Bridgette O'Neil (Pittsburgh, PA/Brashear) followed with a 146  
* The Hawks took down the Lions 718-683 in the second traditional match
* Sophomore Natalie Denny (Harborcreek, PA/Harborcreek) led in game two with 164
* Lundy followed closely behind with a 157
