CANTON, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend women's bowling team placed third out of four teams at the Walsh Invitational on Sunday.

Key Moments:

* The Lions took third place by edging Wright State 211-174 in the seventh baker match, winning 4-3
* Behrend won the third, fourth, fifth and seventh baker match  
* Emmanuel won the invitational and Walsh came in second
* The Lions defeated Emmanuel twice on Saturday, but fell 894-727 on day two
* After falling to Emmanuel and Walsh twice, Behrend defeated Wright State 811-716 in five baker games
* Wright State and the Lions battled it out for third place to finish the day
