PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team will head to La Roche to take on the Redhawks in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

* The Behrend Lions enter the doubleheader with a 12-4 overall record and 5-1 conference mark
* Behrend dropped a non-conference single nine-inning game 13-4 to Fredonia on Wednesday
* The Lions held a 4-3 lead through seven innings before the Blue Devils combined for 10 runs in the final two innings
* Senior outfielder Tanner Cicchini (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) led with a 2-for-5 showing while Zac Bogats (Corapolis, Moon) had two stolen bases
* Earlier in the week, sophomore Derrick Shields (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) was named AMCC Pitcher of the Week

* The Redhawks are undefeated on the season at 6-0 overall and in the AMCC
* La Roche is coming off 7-1 and 14-1 wins over Altoona to remain in first place in the conference standings
* The Redhawks posted 11 extra-base hits in the doubleheader (five home runs, five doubles and a triple)
* Senior Dylan Urban was named the AMCC Player of the Week
* Urban recorded eight hits with three doubles and two home runs in four games last week
* La Roche holds four of the five top spots in batting average in the AMCC led by Jay Novak (.640)
* Jake Seymour is the lone pitcher in the AMCC with a 0.00 ERA after hurling 13.1 innings and collecting a pair of wins
