STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team will compete at the Penn State DIII Challenge today at the Toftrees Resort in State College, Pa., hosted by Penn State Altoona.

Behrend News & Notes:

* Behrend is coming off a second-place finish at the James Bowen Invitational on Saturday
* The Lions tallied a team score of 335, one more than first-place Penn State Altoona
* Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) took home the third-place trophy with an 83
* Pol tied for second overall with four other golfers including teammate Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, Pa/Belle Vernon)
* After a playoff between the five golfers, Pol was able to secure a plaque
* The Lions had all five golfers finish in the Top 10
* Behrend will compete against Penn State Altoona, Penn State Harrisburg and Mt. Aloysius today
