Men's Golf Takes Third at Penn State DIII Challenge
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished third out of four teams at the Penn State Division III Challenge hosted by Penn State Altoona at the Toftrees Resort.

Results: Behrend finished in third place out of four teams (324)

Key Moments: 

* Ryan Meyer (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) and Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) finished in the Top 10
* Meyer was even on the first five holes and was one over after seven holes
* Meyer tied for fourth overall with a 78 for the course (39-39)
* Caldwell placed seventh overall with a 40 on the front and 40 on the back for an 80
* Alex Pol (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) tied for 10th overall (42-40) with an 82, while Michael Dinner (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) was 14th with an 84 (39-45)
* Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) rounded out the Behrend golfers with an 86. He had a birdie on the par 5 second hole
* As a team, Behrend was six strokes behind first place with a 324
* Penn State Altoona won with a 318, followed by Penn State Harrisburg with 320
* Mt. Aloysius was in fourth place with a score of 362
