ERIE, Pa. – The Alfred State men's swimming and diving team recorded a 164-130 victory over Penn State Behrend in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

* Jake Schmidt (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) was a four-time winner, claiming three individual win and one relay for the Lions
* Jacob Eshelman (Franklin, PA/Franklin) also had a pair of wins and one relay victory for Behrend
* Schmidt was dominant in the freestyle events, winning the 100 (48.32), the 200 (1:48.73) and the 500 (5:08.58)
* Eshelman was two seconds faster than teammate James Connolly (Allentown, PA/Parkland) in the 1000 freestyle
* Eshelman touched in 10:36.27 and Connolly was second place in 10:38.75
* Eshelman also won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:18.59, also edging teammate Jake Niziol (Eighty Four, PA/Ringgold)
* Schmidt, Matt Karenbauer (Butler, PA/Knoch), Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny), Eshelman rallied to win the final relay of the meet
* The foursome posted a time of 3:18.48 in the 400 free relay
