ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team recorded an 8-1 win over Pitt-Greensburg in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Westwood Racquet Club.

Key Moments:

* Behrend earned its second straight conference win, only giving up one singles match
* The Lions swept the doubles matches, narrowly winning at No. 1 doubles
* Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) and Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) went into a tiebreaker set in doubles and came out victorious 8-7 (7-4)
* The final four players were all double winners on the day
* May also won at No. 2 singles (6-0, 6-1), while Michael Brudy (Gibsonia, PA/Pine-Richland) recorded a convincing 6-1, 6-0 decision at the third spot
* Brudy also teamed up with Matthew McCullough (Penfield, PA/DuBois Area) for an 8-3 No. 2 doubles win and then he posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3 singles

* Max Lu (Plum, PA/Plum) and Tyler Dollard (Pittsburgh, PA/Peters Township) blanked their No. 3 doubles opponent
* Dollard narrowly swept Preston Hunt at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 decision
* Lu tallied the last singles win at the fourth spot (6-4, 6-0)
