Men's Tennis Battles Baldwin Wallace, Mt. Aloysius This Weekend
The Penn State Behrend men’s tennis team will compete in a pair of matches over the weekend at the Westwood Racquet Club.
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team will compete in a pair of matches over the weekend at the Westwood Racquet Club. The Lions face Baldwin Wallace on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and then battle Mt. Aloysius at 1 p.m. in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action.

* The Lions are coming off a 5-2 win over Alfred on Tuesday night to give them at 4-3 overall record
* Behrend won the doubles point by capturing the No. 2 and No. 3 positions vs. the Saxons
* The Lions tallied wins at No. 3-6 singles to secure the victory
* Graham Louis (Erie, PA/Fairview), Vitaliy Pikalo (Hampton, PA/Hampton), and Paul Flick (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) were double winners
* Louis and Pikalo teamed up at No. 2 doubles for a 6-4 win, while Flick and Aidan Piazza (Fairview, PA/Fairview) earned a 6-3 win at third doubles
* Pikalo went on to win 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles and Louis followed with a 6-2, 6-1 decision in the fourth spot
* Flick posted a 7-6, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles and William Thomas (Greensburg, PA/Greensburg Salem) tallied a 6-0, 6-2 fifth-singles victory
* Louis continues to lead the team with five singles wins
* Last season, Baldwin Wallace posted a 7-2 victory while the Lions swept Mt. Aloysius (9-0, 8-0)
