Men's Track and Field Competes in the SPIRE Midwest Open This Weekend

Geneva, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field team competed in the SPIRE Midwest Open this weekend.

Key Moments:

* Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) beat the school record in the 3k with a time of 8:43.23 which also qualifies him for the All Atlantic Region meet
* The men's 4x400 meter relay team of Nick Coleman (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin), Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport), Micheal Cross (Fairview, PA/Fairview), and Zachary Tingley (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) finished in 12th place with a time of 3:34.20
* Braden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.96 meters
* Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) finished in fourth place in the long jump with a jump of 6.43 meters
