Lions Claim Top Finishes at Cornell

ITHACA, NY. – The Penn State Behrend men's track & field team competed at the Cornell Invitational on Sunday.

Key Moments: 

* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) came home with two gold metals in the mile and 800m
* Myers won the men's mile run with a time of 4:20.40 and the 800m in 1:59.01
* Antonio Stello (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) and Kurt Eberhardt (Gibsonia, PA/Hampton) went one and two in the 200m 
* Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) won the high jump event with a height of 2.08m
* Behrend had two Top-5 finishes in the 60m with Amory Coleman-Reeves leading the pack in a second place finish (7.21)
* In the 400m, Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) tallied a third place finish running 52.10
* Kevin Ingros (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) finished third in the 600m (1:36.08)
* Chris Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) ran 9:08.89 in the 300m claiming third place
* Nick Lachut (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin), Jack Georgetson (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell), and Kyle Grimm (Beaver, PA/Beaver Area) came in fifth, sixth, and seventh, respectively in the pole vault

Behrend will travel to Rochester, NY on Friday to compete in the Nazareth Invitational.
