ROCHESTER, NY – Penn State Behrend men's track and field junior Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) placed sixth in the high jump at the 2023 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships hosted by St. John Fisher on Saturday.

Hetrick tied for sixth with a height of 2.02m to earn his fourth All-America honors of his career. He cleared 1.92m on his first attempt to move to 1.97m. Hetrick cleared 6-05.50 on his second attempt and then made it over 2.02m on his first try.

Hetrick was the only representative from the Penn State Behrend men's track and field team to participate in high jump. The national accolade makes for the 22^nd All-American in program history.
