ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will host Thiel in their home opener on Wednesday night in the Junker Center. The non-conference match begins at 7 p.m.

* The Behrend Lions were chosen to finish second in the AMCC Preseason Coaches Poll
* The Lions are second behind first-place Geneva and edged out third-place Penn State Altoona
* Behrend is coming off a 3-1 loss at Geneva on Friday in their season opener
* The Golden Tornadoes managed a 25-17, 21-25, 25-22 and 25-16 victory
* Freshman outside hitter Logan Hering (North East, PA/North East) led the Lions with 15 kills
