Men's Volleyball Hosts Medaille in AMCC Action Wednesday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will host the Medaille Mavericks in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Wednesday night in the Junker Center. No spectators are allowed for the match that begins at 7 p.m.

* Dedert recorded his first collegiate double-double with a career-high 17 kills and 12 digs against Hiram
* Dedert ranks second on the team with 54 kills. Freshman Logan Hering (North East, PA/North East) averages 3.23 kills per set with a team-lead 71 kills

* The Mavericks are coming off a 3-0 win at St. Vincent on Saturday to improve to 2-3 overall
* Medaille is also 1-1 in the AMCC with the win over the Bearcats and a 3-1 loss to Hiram
* Junior outside hitter Chris Pauline Jr. was instrumental in the win over St. Vincent with 11 kills and a .276 hitting percentage, eight digs, three service aces, and two solo blocks
* Junior setter Jake Siwy ranks third in the conference with 7.88 assists per set
* Last season, the Mavericks went 9-11 overall and 2-3 in the AMCC

* Behrend has won the last five of the last six meetings with the Mavericks
* Medaille holds a 12-5 overall record against the Lions dating back to the 2012 season
