ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will host Mt. Union in their final non-conference home match of the season on Tuesday night in the Junker Center. No fans permitted for the 7 p.m. match.

* The Behrend Lions are looking to avenge the loss on March 11 to the Purple Raiders
* Freshman Logan Hering (North East, PA/North East) led the team with 30 kills in two matches last week
* Hering tallied a season-best 20 kills and 12 digs for his first collegiate double-double on Saturday
Diego Ortiz (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) posted his second double-double of the season with a team-best 20 assists and 13 digs
* Dylan Buzalka (Carlisle, PA/Cumberland Valley) made his first collegiate start and recorded three kills, three digs and four blocks
* The Lions need to win the two remaining AMCC contests to qualify for the AMCC Championships on March 7
* Hering is the top freshman in the conference, ranking second in kills and kills per set behind junior Peter Barbato from Geneva

* The Purple Raiders have won 15 in a row dating back to February 14
* Mt. Union is 17-2 on the season and is 9-0 when playing at home
* The Purple Raiders are coming off a pair of wins over conference foe Baldwin Wallace (3-1, 3-1)
* Senior outside hitter Justin Sibbel leads the team with 3.89 kills per set, while Steven Grenier is first with 3.18 digs per set
* Last week, Sibbel was named the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his collegiate career
* Sibbel recorded 21 kills (4.00 per set) for a .412 attack percentage

Series History:

* Mt. Union evened the all-time series record at 2-all with a win over the Lions earlier this season
* The Purple Raiders have now won two in a row against Behrend
* Mt. Union posted a 3-2 win last season and 3-1 victory on March 11
