Men's Volleyball Travels For Tri-Matches This Weekend

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball hits the road for a set of tri-matches this weekend. The Lions will head to Wilkes to face the Colonels and SUNY Potsdam on Saturday, before traveling to Immaculata to take on the Mighty Macs and Rosemont on Sunday.

* The Lions collected their first win of the season on Tuesday night
* Behrend defeated Thiel in a non-conference matchup, 3-2
* The Lions rallied back from two sets down to earn the win
* Senior middle hitter Cody Schnur (Butler, PA/Butler) had 15 kills on 26 attempts with no errors for a .577 hitting percentage while adding six blocks
* Schnur joined JP Goodsel (Corry, PA/Corry) and Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) with double-digit kills in the five sets
* Schnur is ranked 34th in Division III statistics in hitting percentage (.364)
* Goodsel and Wienczkowski each added 10 kills, while Adrian Martinez led with 12 digs
