Men's Cross Country Heads to AMCC Championship Sunday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team will travel to La Roche on Sunday. The men's team will be competing for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship.

* The Lions will be competing for just the second time this season
* Behrend ran in the Mercyhust Invite back on March 13
* Senior Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) led the way, placing fourth with a time of 17:32.7
* Myers was followed by Jake Lehotsky (Erie, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) in fifth with a 17:42.7
* The men's team is looking to avenge their second place finish in the 2019-20 season
* Myers, an All-Region runner in 2019, is the top returning AMCC competitor from last season
* Lehotsky was the second best AMCC returner from 2019 and is hoping to help contribute to the team
