Men's Cross Country Wins AMCC Championship

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Cross Country Championship on Sunday with a team score of 23 held at La Roche. 

Key Moments:
* The men's cross country team won the AMCC Cross Country Championship with a team score of 23, led by junior Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca)
* Myers finished in second place overall with a time of 18:36.68
* Myers was just seven seconds behind top finisher Garth Bathgate from Alfred State
* Behrend took five of the top-10 places at the championship
* Behind Myers was Jake Lehotsky (Erie, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) with a time of 18:46.12, taking home the bronze
* Christopher Annear (Fredonia, NY/Fredonia) finished in fifth (19:40.59) followed by Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake/Conneaut Area) in sixth (19:47.26) and Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) in seventh (19:49.91)
* Six runners finished with all-conference honors for placing in the Top-15
