HOUGHTON, NY - The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team placed third out of four teams at the Houghton Invitational on Wednesday.

* Brockport State placed first (18) and followed by Houghton (54) in second. The Lions were third (59) and Alfred came in fourth (119)
* Senior Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) led the way for the Lions. Myers took eighth place with a time of 16:20.59 with an average mile of 5:16
* Junior Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) was nine seconds before Myers for ninth overall (16:29.70)
* Freshman Kody Klein (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) made his collegiate debut as the top freshman for Behrend, running 16:38.02 for 11th place
* Behrend had 11 total runners competing
