ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team will travel to Geneseo, New York and the National Warplane Museum for the NCAA Division III Regionals on Saturday.

* The Lions enter the NCAA Regionals having most recently won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship
* Eight runners finished in the Top-15, earning All-AMCC honors
* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) paced Behrend with a 29:47.63 finish in second place, just 22 seconds behind the individual winner
* A fifth-place finish for Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) crowned him Newcomer of the Year as the best finisher among first-year participants
* This weekend is an NCAA qualifying race
* In 2019, the Lions had their best finish in program history at the NCAA Regionals
* Behrend placed 10th out of 51 teams
* Myers took 32nd overall to earn All-Region honors
