Myers Finishes 24th at NCAA Regionals, Team Places 14th
The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team competed in the NCAA Regionals on Saturday, hosted by SUNY Geneseo, and had three runners finish in the Top-70.
GENESEO, NY – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team competed in the NCAA Regionals on Saturday, hosted by SUNY Geneseo, and had three runners finish in the Top-70.
Result: 14th out of 22 teams
Key Moments:
* Phoenix Myers (Erie, PA/Seneca) finished ahead of all other runners from Behrend with a time of 26:03.4
* Myers also placed 24th, making him an All-Region selection
* Freshman Kody Klein (North East PA/Cathedral Prep) was the second Lion to cross and 64th overall at 27:22.0
* Nick Temel (Conneaut Lake, PA/Conneaut Area) finished 10 seconds behind Klein in 69th place at 27:32.4
* SUNY Geneseo placed first among all teams with five runners in the Top-10
* Ryan Cory from SUNY Cortland was the individual winner, crossing first at 25:27.7
