PLANT CITY, Fl. – The Penn State Behrend softball team went 1-1 at the Sunkissed Games on Sunday to start the season.

Game 1
* The Lions played their first game against Aurora on Sunday winning 8-6
* Alayna Derzak (Seven Fields, PA/Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic) and Carson Hauser (Westfield, NY/Westfield Academy) each led the team with two runs and a double
* Marissa Torretti (DuBois, PA/DuBois) also chipped in two runs
* Behrend scored four runs in the second inning after being behind 3-0 after the first
* The Lions held the Spartans to only one run after the second inning
Game 2
* Behrend took on Heidelberg in the second game falling 7-3
* Lauren Olevnik (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) finished the game with two hits, one run, and an RBI
* Torretti had two hits in three at bats
* The Student Prince's drove in five runs in the fourth inning to seal the win
