Softball Travels to Christopher Newport Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend softball team travels to Newport News, Virginia to take on Christopher Newport in a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday.

* Senior AJ Nichols (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) is leading the team in hits and RBI's with 14 and 13 respectively

* On the pitching end, Nichols is tied for first in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) with four wins
* Nichols was also named the AMCC Player of the Week last week
