ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend softball team swept Medaille on Tuesday in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) doubleheader.

Game 1
* In game one, Behrend took down the Mavericks, 21-4 in five innings
* The Lions scored a season-high 21 runs on a season-high 17 hits
* McIntire went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs
* Maria Jones (Wilcox, PA/Johnsonburg) improved to 6-0 on the mound
* Jones also had a triple, two RBIs, and two stolen bases
* Behrend scored in every inning but the second

* Behrend won the second game of the series against the Medaille Mavericks, 11-0 in five innings
* McIntire continued to hit, going 3-for-4 with a double and five RBIs
* Ashleigh Schmidt pitched a no hitter and her second shutout of the season
* Schmidt also went 3-for-3 with two RBIs on offense
* Kylee Bundy (DuBois, PA/DuBois) tallied two doubles, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs
