Behrend Wrestling Heads to NCAA Regional Qualifier
The Penn State Behrend wrestling team travels to Williamsport, Pa. to Lycoming College to participate in the 2025 NCAA Division III Regional Qualifier, a two-day NCAA Championships qualifier at the Keiper Recreation Center. Preliminary matches begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, while the championship rounds kick off at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

* The Lions will be sending a full lineup and five All-Conference wrestlers to regionals
* Cole Neil (Saint Marys, PA/Saint Marys) returns to regionals after placing sixth last season at 133
* Neil, the AMCC runner up at 141, enters the weekend with a 15-8 overall record
* Nolan Fenton (Kersey, PA/Saint Marys) will wrestle at 197 for the Lions
* Fenton was recently named the AMCC Wrestler of the Year after claiming the AMCC title in his weight class
* The sophomore leads the team with 21 wins and 11 pins
* Rudy Brown (Burgettstown, PA/Burgettstown), the 157 AMCC Champion and Newcomer of the Year, will compete in his first regional qualifier
* Brown went undefeated in dual meets this season (15-0) and has a 19-2 overall record
* Zach Dellinger (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville) and Steffan Lynch (North East, PA/North East) are the final two All-AMCC honorees competing
* Dellinger was second at 125 at the conference championships and brings 16 wins to regionals
* Wrestling at 149, Lynch is making his first appearance at regionals after placing second at the AMCC Championship
* Completing the lineup is Isaac Meyers (McMurray, PA/Peters Township) at 133, Story Buchanan (Girard, PA/Girard) at 165, Konnor Tubin (Pewaukee, WI/Pewaukee) at 174, Matthew Melchior (Lawrence Township, NJ/Lawrence) and Matt Caldwell (North Tonawanda) at heavyweight
* Tubin is tied for second on the team with 19 wins and Caldwell is third in pins with nine
