Key Moments:
* The Behrend Lions had five wrestlers post a 2-1 record on the day to advance to day two of the regional
* At 125, Zach Dellinger (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville) dropped his first match and bounced back to win the next two bouts by pinfall
* Dellinger defeated Ryan Farley of Alfred State in 1:20 and then only needed 48 seconds to take down Cameron Hinchcliff of Oneonta State in the second round of the consolation
* Cole Neil (Saint Marys, PA/Saint Marys), wrestling at 141, also registered a pair of pins after faling in his first match by major decision (17-8)
* Neil pinned Richard Morales of Alfred State in 20 seconds and Matt Haycook of Ithaca in 3:50
* At 157, Rudy Brown (Burgettstown, PA/Burgettstown) posted a 2-1 record on the day, defeating Gavin Gomes of Penn by fall (6:50) and Marquis Larmond of Brockport by a 2-1 decision
* Konnor Tubin (Pewaukee, WI/Pewaukee) had a pair of wins at 174
* Tubin pinned Gavin Seiler of Cortland State in 1:43 and had a 4-1 sudden victory to stay alive in the tournament against Cole Shupp of Penn
* Nolan Fenton (Kersey, PA/Saint Marys) is the fifth wrestler competing tomorrow for the Lions
* Fenton won by technical fall over Jevin Torres of Hunter, 19-2, and dropped to the consolation bracket after falling to Blaise Wagner of Steves
* Fenton got his final win of the day by decision (20-15) over Aaron Johnson
