ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team's home opener this Saturday features the Alfred State Pioneers at 1 p.m. in the Junker Center Pool.

* Behrend begins its 26th swimming and diving season as a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC)
* Head coach Jen Wallace begins her 21st season as the mentor for both Lions teams

* Behrend picked up their first dual-meet win of the season and first in program history over Westminster on Saturday
* The Lions, who were tied with the Titans after the 3m diving, pulled out a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 IM and won the final 400 free relay to capture the win
* Freshman Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) broke the freshman record in the 100 backstroke, winning the event in 1:01.24
* Freshman diver Lauren Stephens (Fairview, PA/Fairview) has been named the AMCC Diver of the Week for two straight meets
* Stephens placed second on the one and three-meter boards in the win over the Titans
