ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team fell short of defeating the reigning Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) champions Alfred State by a score of 149-139 on Saturday.

* The Behrend Lions were five points away from the lead heading into the final relay
* There was only a four-second difference between first and second place in the 200 freestyle relay
* Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield), Jadyn Danylko (Erie, PA/McDowell), Becca Krenzer (Grove City, PA/Grove City) and Samantha Sebulak (Erie, PA/McDowell) clocked in at 1:45.21 for second place
* Watters was close to breaking her freshman 100 backstroke record, leading a 1-2-3 finish for the Lions
* She won the event in 1:01.31 and last week she tallied a winning time of 1:01.24
* Lauren Stephens (Fairview, PA/Fairview) and Julia Sank (North East, PA/North East) went 1-2, respectively, in both diving events
* Stephens won the one-meter board with a score of 183.50 before posting a 180.40 total in the three-meter board
* Danylko and Marin O'Lone (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) were individual winners on the day
* In the 100 butterfly, Danylko posted a winning time of 1:02.43 and O'Lone was victorious in the 200 backstroke (2:18.25)
