ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team's season and home opener is Saturday afternoon against non-conference Allegheny Gators. Meet begins at 1 p.m.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes

* Behrend begins its 27^th swimming and diving season as a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) and joins the SUNYAC for a joint championship this winter
* Head coach Jen Wallace begins her 22nd season as the mentor for both Lions teams
* Wallace earned her seventh Coach of the Year honors in 2023-24
* Wallace led the Lions to their 13^th AMCC Championship and first Allegheny Empire Championship
* Sophomore Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) returns after earning AMCC Newcomer of the Year honors last season
* Watters was a seven-time All-AMCC selection, landing on the first team in three events including the 100 and 200 backstroke
* In addition to Watters, Behrend returns seven All-Conference performers including junior Jadyn Danylko (Erie, PA/McDowell)
* Danylko was a six-time All-AMCC choice and was the AMCC Champion in the 100 butterfly and 200 medley relay
