Women's Swimming and Diving Routes Allegheny in Home Opener

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team began the new season with a 157-94 dual-meet victory over Allegheny in non-conference action on Saturday.

* Behrend won 11 events on the day including three events with the top three finishers being Lions
* The meet began with a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay thanks to Jadyn Danylko (Erie, PA/McDowell), Marin O'Lone (Edinboro, PA/General McLane), Lauren True (Denton, TX/Guyer) and Kallie Smith (Oil City, PA/Oil City)
* The foursome posted a time of 1:45.03
* Danylko, O'Lone and Smith went on to earn individual events
* Danylko was first in the 50 free (26.35) and the 100 fly (1:02.45)
* Smith and O'Lone competed in the 200 free and 200 back events, respectively
* Smith won in 2:05.59 and O'Lone clocked in at 2:15.91
* Logan Wilson (Hermitage, PA/Hickory) swam the two distances races, touching first in the 1000 free (11:29.46) and then the 500 free (5:36.31)
* Diver Nora Blasch (Springfield, VA/West Springfield) got points for coming in first on the one-meter board (174.65) and the three-meter board (174.0)
* Camryn Watters (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) and Samantha Sebulak (Erie, PA/McDowell) managed to get the final wins for Behrend
* Watters won the 100 back (1:02.48) and Sebulak in the 100 free (57.19)
