GENEVA, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team participated in the SPIRE Indoor Games on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Senior Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) tied for second with a season-best height of 10-11 ¾ in the pole vault
* Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) finished 14th in the 5000m with a time of 19:36.10
* Thrower Jessica Park (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow) recorded 16th in the weight throw (43-3), while Braylee Lukehart (Reynoldsville, PA/DuBois Area) scored 32-11 in the shot put for 24th
* In the 400m, Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) ran a season-best time of 1:03.42 for 23rd place on Saturday
* The 4x4 relay team of Kappeler, Laffan, Ella McGowan (Erie, PA/Waterford), and Jaade Duncan (Turner Falls, MA/Turner Falls) ended the meet with an eighth place with a time of 4:20.25
