Women's Volleyball Hosts John Carroll Wednesday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team returns to the Junker Center for a non-conference match against John Carroll on Wednesday, beginning at 7 p.m.

* The Lions are coming off a 1-2 week, ending with a 3-1 win over Houghton on Saturday in non-conference action
* Libero Sara Nobach (Athens, MI/Athens) averaged 4.18 digs per set in three matches
* Nobach had double-digit digs each match, including her most digs in a three-set match this season with 20 against Thiel
* Outside hitter Cadence Jones (North East, PA/North East) posted three consecutive double-doubles in kills and digs for the Lions last week
* She averaged 4.09 kills and 3.36 digs, in the win over Houghton she posted 16 kills and 13 digs along with two aces and one assist
* Jones ranks 16^th in the NCAA Division III statistics in total kills (241) and is 13^th in points (284)
* As a team, Behrend ranks first in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) in blocks and second in kills and assists
